A real person walks in, browses, picks something up, takes it to the register.. and buys it.

Not to actually buy it. To find out if the experience works the way it's supposed to.

If the cashier is rude, they know. If the register is broken, they know. If the fitting room is locked and nobody noticed, they know.

Here's what I mean.

You built a funnel. You probably tested it once when you launched it. Clicked through the OTO yes path. Maybe the no path. Confirmed your email showed up.

Then you turned on traffic and moved on.

But funnels don't stay the same. Pages update. Scripts load late. Mobile viewports shift. Checkout buttons that worked fine in March behave differently in May on a different browser.

And nobody's walking the store.
