Primary Blog/Funnel Downtime vs. Hosting Uptime: Why They're Not the Same

The Weekend Nobody Called
Thursday afternoon. Campaign running. Numbers look normal.
Friday. Still running. ROAS holding.

Saturday morning. Coffee. Quick check. Nothing alarming.

Sunday you're at your kid's soccer game.

Monday you open the laptop and something's off. Conversions are down. Not dramatically. Just.. off. You start with the creative. Maybe it's fatigued. You pull the ad sets. You check the audience overlap. You spend two hours inside Ads Manager looking for an explanation.

Then someone on your team actually clicks the link.

The order form has been broken since Friday night.

Not broken like a 404. Broken like: the page loads, the button is there, everything looks fine. But someone put it in test mode and forgot to take it back out, and nobody's completed a purchase in three days.

Seventy-two hours. Your ads running to a broken funnel the entire time.

Now. Here's the part worth sitting with.

Your funnel was "up" the entire time. Every uptime check passed. No alerts fired. No status page turned red. As far as your infrastructure was concerned, everything was working perfectly.

It was.

The infrastructure was fine. The funnel wasn't.

Those are two different systems. And for most business owners, only one of them has anyone watching it.

ClickFunnels monitors their platform. Nobody monitors whether a human can actually complete a purchase on your funnel at 2am on a Saturday while you're asleep and $1,000 in daily ad spend is routing traffic to a button that does nothing when clicked.

That gap has a cost. It's not theoretical. It's arithmetic.

Seventy-two hours at $1,000 a day is $3,000 in spend to a broken experience. Plus the leads who landed, couldn't buy, and got retargeted by your competitor by Tuesday.

You paid to build that audience. Someone else collected them.

The fix, by the way, was a single check to take it out of test mode. Thirty seconds to resolve once it was identified. The identification is what took three days.

Knowing immediately is a completely different outcome than finding out eventually.

One of those is a monitoring problem. The other is a revenue problem.

They're the same problem.
