I wouldn’t touch the copy yet.
I wouldn’t change the offer.
I wouldn’t “optimize.”
I’d scan for leaks.
Does the page load with http and https?
With and without the www?
Do all the buttons work?
Desktop and mobile.
Do all the links go where they’re supposed to go?
Desktop and mobile.
Does the page load fast?
Are images optimized?
Are there blocking JavaScript calls?
Any JavaScript errors firing quietly in the background?
What’s the user experience like?
Are there elements hidden or invisible on certain screens?
Does the headline speak to a real problem or desire?
And does the rest of the copy actually support that promise?
Does the form submit with good data?
What about bad data?
Do the upsells work?
The downsells?
Is there a clean visual and transactional flow from step to step?
Do the referring links from ads or organic traffic make sense in context?
Do the emails fire?
Do I get the product?
Do I get too many emails?
Do I get emails if I don’t buy that actually help me decide?
Do those emails link to the right place?
Do the emails look good in light mode?
Dark mode?
And that’s just the first pass.
There are a million small ways funnels leak.
Most of them don’t break anything.
They just quietly cost you money.
That’s the difference between a funnel that exists
and one that’s actually healthy.
Funnels don’t need more tricks. They need fewer leaks.
Check them out with something like Funnel Pulse to make sure your funnel is optimal.
