You can't monitor a funnel by checking it one time.
I know.. because I used to think you could.
You pull up the page. Looks good. Loads fast. Button works. You close the tab and move on. Funnel's fine.
Except you just checked it once. On your device. On your connection. Logged into your account. At that specific moment in time.
Classic confirmation bias.
Here's what you actually checked..
Whether it worked for you. Right now. Today.. That's it.
You checked nothing about what happened at 2am. Or on Firefox. Or on a mobile connection in a different state. Or the 40 times someone tried to buy while you were in a meeting. Or whether it's been subtly slower every week for the last month and you just haven't noticed because you're used to it.
Intermittent failures are the worst kind because they don't perform on command. The people they happen to don't email you. They don't DM you. They just leave. And every time you go to check.. it works perfectly.
Automated continuous monitoring doesn't check your funnel when it's convenient. It checks it constantly. From outside your network. Without your cookies. Without your logged-in session. The way your actual traffic experiences it.
What you don't check.. you don't know.
And what you don't know is already costing you.
